As part of our efforts to thoroughly evaluate prospective Underdog.io candidates, we’re beta testing a program where we require select engineering candidates to complete an advanced programming assessment before we share them with the Underdog.io network.
We’ll share more details about the assessment in the coming weeks, but for now, here are the highlights:
- The assessment is a series of challenges designed to vet a candidate's computer science background.
- The assessment contains four questions that can be completed in a programming language of the candidate’s choosing.
- Each of the four challenges is designed to test a different aspect of a candidate's knowledge, including binary, regular expressions, algorithms, and data structures.
- The assessment has been designed to take approximately two hours to complete.
To find candidates that have passed the assessment, search for “Passed Programming Assessment” in the batch email or in our web application. Bear with us during the trial; we’ll formalize this addition to our platform in the coming weeks.
