Each Monday at 9 AM, you’ll receive access to a new batch of Underdog.io Candidates. You will be able to review these candidates directly on the Underdog.io Dashboard. You can also elect to receive the full batch via email, if you prefer. For more information, visit our article Email Preferences.
Batches are location-specific. This means that candidates who appear within your batch are interested in roles in your location, regardless of where they may be currently based. On the Underdog.io Dashboard, you can utilize search to filter by location (New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Remote), as well as by candidate expertise (Technical, Product, and Business.) You can then utilize keywords to narrow your search. To learn more, consult Searching Candidates.
Candidates in a batch have applied to join the Underdog.io community directly on our site. Customarily, candidates shared in batches are searching for full-time work. In cases where candidates are looking for atypical roles (i.e. contract work, remote work), and make it into a batch, we will clearly communicate this on their profile within Dashboard.
Occasionally, we will work with highly-qualified bootcamp graduates who have full-time engineering experience. In general, we share fewer than 10% of bootcamp applicants. Bootcamp candidates with fewer than three years of full-time experience are tagged with "Bootcamp." In addition, we sometimes choose to work with highly-qualified candidates that require visa sponsorship. We gather comprehensive information about each candidate's visa situation before sharing him or her, and we typically only share candidates that hold a transferable visa. For a better understanding of the visa landscape, read Engineer's Guide to US Visas. If a candidate requires visa sponsorship, we will clearly notate this on the Dashboard.
As per our Terms of Service, candidates from Underdog.io batches should not be shared with people outside of your organization.
